I finally put some decent ammo in this LWRC and shot some groups with it today. With IMI 69gr Razorcore it was shooting sub moa 5 shot groups...I guess it likes that load. The more I use this rifle the more I like it.

The 13.7 lost its pinning again; I think the YHM QD mount just isn't amicable to being pinned (the weld has to be manipulated/filed down so the collar will move back and forth/ratchet the can, so the weld breaks). So it can live on my SBR lower now, with a red dot, and I'll just use it as my primary HD/short range work setup.

Recce ish on right. Old Leupold VX Hog. Kinda hate it but it's what I had laying around when I built this thing last summer. Trijicon Accupower 1-8 coming in a month or two. |

My rail and barrel are wrong too. And even though I've seen that mount on Navy Builds, I've never seen it on a recce. So I'm all non kosher. Oh well, I think I have it where I'm starting to like it. I think I'm gonna like the CTR when I'm shooting for accuracy. It's also comfy off hand. I tried one once when I had a commercial tube on there and it was a commercial one and for some reason I couldn't stand it. I think the extra diameter made it really annoying to me. More and better finished photos when the last parts get here. Talk about feeling dumb, I didn't realize that LaRue 18" barrels are midgas. So I have to wait for a new gas tube to show up before I can finish putting the stick together.
