Well its not a problem with the way it functions but the anodizing is waring off really easily.  I have 2, one RRA brand and one gunshow special and both have lots of bare alluminum showing through with not much ware on them.  They are the older style 4 pos tubes and I am thinking about replacing them with some Bushmaster 4 pos tubes but am affraid thay may do the same thing.  They are anodized and look like quality parts except the anodizing seems to be very thin or easily worn off.  No these arnt safe queens, they are to use but at the rate the anodizing is coming off I might as well paint the thing silver.   Any one else have this trouble.  I allready checked the stock body for any thing that may cause this.  It just looks like thin anodizing to me.

Tools, when used, show wear.

Good tools, when worn, still work as they should.

Nothing to see here.  Move along.
