Hey guys-

I've got a postban Bushmaster XM15-E2S M4 type with the fixed carbine stock on it. I recently purchased a collapsible stock but am having a hell of a time getting the original one off. I've put it in a vice, and have broken two single tooth stock wrenches trying to turn the retaining nut. I'm trying to turn it "lefty loosey" -(counter-clockwise) is that correct or is there another trick to this? I did a search in the forums and ordered a three tooth carbine stock wrench from Brownells, and am wondering if there's anything else I might need to do to make this a little easier. Do I just keep trying to muscle it loose, or what?

I recently removed the one on my Bushmaster and removed the skin off of my knuckles doing it. I had the three tooth wrench, just took a lot of cursing and hard prying.
