Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Can you give me a fair asking price for my ar?

I have a 20" ar I built.  It's on an eagle arms lower, all other parts dpms except for the carry handle which is RRA.  Probably around 700 or 800 rounds through it at the most.  I'm not trying to advertise or anything, I have no post in the EE yet.  I just want to know what a good asking price is, gonna see if any of my friends want it first.  I was thinking maybe $450.  Is that reasonable?   Thanks.  

No dpms bashers please, I love this rifle and have had no problems with it.  I just need to sell it so I can finish school; I am spending too much on ammo so I figured I'd better just lose the more expensive rifles for now.

You could probably get $500 - $550

At $450, you are underselling it.  If it goes to a friend and good home, that is a more than good price.  If its not to a friend, you should be able to get $550 without much trouble.
