Even if you get your money's worth on a $50 barrel, do you really think you'd want one?

They are probably fine. Century doesn't actually make parts. They are outsourced to others. Not sure who actually makes these but the price is right.

part #  PA15009

I have had 2 of these barrels in my shopping cart for about 6 months now and still haven't convinced myself to actually buy them.

By any chance do you know of any pictures?  I'd love to see if the gas port had been drilled, if there is a shelf for the handguard cap, and if they are finished.

Things like front sight bases and barrel nuts I can handle...

Thanks!

I typed in the part number and I see that they are $92.95 each, not a pair.

Comes up as $69.87 for me.  The old deal on these barrels was 1 for $96 or 2 for the same price.  They changed the price now.

Add the barrel to your shopping cart and see how much it comes up as.

I bought two of them last year. Here is a picture of the rifle I built with one of them. That is my son Jeff holding the AR.

This is a test target at 50 yards, off hand, with the iron sights. First time with iron sights for me.

I put a flash hider on it, a DPMS free float tube, freebie front sight, and a DPMS bolt in it. The function rate has been 100% for the couple of hundred rounds I've put through it.

Here's the link to the barrels:  www.centuryarms.com/store/product_info.php?products_id=383.  I added two to the cart and it came out to $185.90 total...
