Getting an AR15 in Europe is not an easy task, especially for non LE purposes.
Bushmaster, Armalite, DPMS, RRA these are only a few I asked for their dealers down here. None of them (the manufacturers) were interested in doing bussiness with an individual. Only Sabre Defence which has a manufaturing plant in UK and Dlask Arms Corp. from Canada were willing to cooperate.
Actually none of the headline AR15 makers is known to me.
Does anybody has any experience with their products ?

Thanks for any info.

Sure, both good, quality manufacturers.  Dlask is better know in the 1911 world than for ARs, but it's all good stuff.

my local AR gunsmith, armorer, tac rifle builder advises that Sabre is doing some of the nicest work in the industry right now.  That's just the opinion of one guy that I am passing along.  I dont personally own any Sabre gear - yet.  Their barrel work looks impressive as far as material goes....

I can't report on Dlask, but Sabre is top quality.

Same here. I have a Sabre Defence 16" midlength upper mated to a LMT Defender (M4) lower and the combination works great. No problems.

Thanks to all for your feedback.

Sabre makes great stuff. They have solid history of making products for the military, and their commercial products fare just as good

Same here! Talon Arms hooked me up with my entire Sabre upper.

1/7 twist, M4 feed ramps, M16 Bolt assembly...all the good stuff.

Joseph Dalask makes a absolutely top notch product. Not only that he is truley a custom guy . I have seen his pump action AR, his total billet AR  and other experimental stuff . He does all the machining in house ( buys the raw forgings )

Even his 80% forgings are bang on ( I  put one on a coordinate measuring machine for fun ) . Because there is no SBR rule in Canada he does lots of shorties

Never had any issues with his guns and his prices are competitive . He will make an AR in whatever configuration you want

He knows his ARs and 1911s and is very pleasant to deal with ( Unlike other know it all arrongant gunsmiths I have dealt with ) .

I drive by his shop all the time so its hard to resist the temptation to stop in !
