Does anyone have a book that will tell me what year my Colt SP1 was made? Serial #SP959XX

My best guess would be in the early 1980's

Call Colt Customer Service and they will give you a production year

I called them 2 weeks ago and they transfered my call and I got a voice mail. I was thinking it was 1979 or 1980.

Best I have from my sheet is SP360200 and below = Pre-ban.
Still need to check Colt for year.
This is what they gave me on my SP1, SP20xxx = Pre-ban=1973
