Most AR muzzle devices are made to hide flash: A1, A2, Phaton, etc. Other muzzle devices are used for brakes, with much noise. What are reasons for not using an AK type slant brake on an AR?

The AR doesn't need compenstation.

Plus..

It's just WRONG!

I'll let you do it if you take an A2 and cut it in half at a 45* angle.

Best of both worlds!

Ghostring, you answered my question. The A2 does work as a compensator as well as flash suppressor.

Sometimes the obvious is not easily seen by me.
