Anyone know where to get one or a kit or something to get some sort of pump shotgun that mounts to hand guard or barrel of an M4gery.

For door breaching? That's the only use I can see.

I don't know where to get one, but I've used the Master Key system on several occasions on an issue M4. It worked for breaching perfectly. Unless you are door breaching though, I'd say save your money because you might as well just shoot the enemy with the AR rather than a shotgun.

The Masterkey project was initiated during the 1980s to provide assault rifles with a potent built-in breaching tool. Individual soldiers were often forced to carry a breaching shotgun in addition to their standard issue rifle, but the Masterkey removes this need. The system consists of a Remington 870 12 gauge pump-action shotgun mounted on a M16/M4 rifle in an underbarrel configuration, much like the M203 grenade launcher.

Funny how they went back to individual soldiers carrying real shotguns.

Damn! that thing weights 5 3/4lbs! That would make an M4 Mad heavy. I really like that CMore XM-26 shotty b/c it only weigs a little over 2lbs. But that just makes the weapon too cumbersomme probably. The price it pretty steep too!

I also notice that the upper will not pivot on the lower w/ the shotty there. I guess you would have to take both out at the same time.

For that kind of money you can buy a real M203 grenade launcher.
