DAMN!!! You guys ROCK!!! Thanks to
everyone for the info and input. I know it seems a bit "snobby" but I am a true, blue Q.C. freak ( well, to the best of my ability)....a lot of that has to do with what I do for a living ( making airbag systems ) so I am stuck on getting as close to "mil spec" as I can on my builds. I realize that unless we are dealing with true M-16s or Gov't Contract AR-15s that "mil spec" is a relative term. Nonetheless, I am striving, on my builds, to be as close to Colt/G.I. as I can be when certain Colt/G.I. parts aren't readily available...hence the "proof testing" question.
BravoCompany, thank you very much for your detailed reply....I'll be checking out that link!!!!
ETA: Bravo Company, I sure wish YOU GUYS had a CMT contract for C7 uppers....let's just say the "mil spec" (
) C7 uppers I got from another source were not mil spec by any means. Even the reorder I made was still NOT to MY specs that I requested, though I was told they would be......yes, my build went together well, but that still ticks in the back of my mind....
By looking at your site, it certainly appears you guys actually KNOW what "mil spec" is. Keep up the good work!!!!!
