Hmm. Thanks for the link. Is that the only option? I guess you cant use a plate like the collapsables use.

On that same site they show a mounting plate like you would use for an M4 stock but designed for an A2 stock.  I dont know if that would work on an A1 or not.

I kinda doubt it, the A2 has that extention piece inside, I guess you take that out and use this peice in its place. the A1 stock is shorter with no extention piece and the screw is super short. Maybe use that peice and an A2 buttstock screw? Could work. But I like the length of A1. lol.

PR-16 Single Point Sling Mount - Rifle Buttstock
This single point sling mount attaches to your A1 or A2 rifle buttstock. With it's two piece design, weapon disassembly is not required and the mount simply clamps around the body of the buttstock. Ambidextrous design allows for the push button quick detach sling swivel (included) to be installed on either side of the weapon.

Daniel Defense make the same Burnsed Loop that is used on telestocks for use on the A1 and or A2 fixed stocks. Be sure and use the screw that it comes with. A screw that is too long can cause issues with your recoil buffer.

They make an ambi model too:

The second screw and nut are for replacing the sling loop on the stock, if you so desire.
