Hey folks,

How would those of you who own, or have shot, CMMG rifles compare them to some of the other manufacturer's out there ?

Are they high quality ?

I've talked to the guys at CMMG before, and their customer service is great. In my opinion, always friendly, and willing to answer questions. Just curious about their actual rifle products.

Thanks.

I have one of their SOCCOM 14.7 barrels with permanent A2 hider...between them and Bushmaster my barrel needs are filled.CMMG always has 1/7s..they are individualy MP inspected and chrome lined..its a great barrel. All CMMG would have to do is use a mil-spec telestock assembly and that would be the closest a civilian can get to an M4A1 as CMMG offers a lot of features that are standard.

I think they are top notch, I just got done putting a rig together using CMMG parts. The only negative I could say is that the receiver to receiver fit is a little loose, not as loose as my Colt but looser than my Stags. Either way though (I am extremely anal in my analysis) they, both the products and the people are great.

I think stag purposely makes their recievers tight. Mine is so tight you can't squeeze paper through it.
