I'm building an SDM-R and was wondering if anyone else has done this. If so, can you post pictures or information about what you used to build this rifle?

Thanks,
Mark

Not too fancy really, but you're right, it does have a fahlooted barrel.

ADCO sells a SDM barrel. I think it goes for around $500.

Check ADCO and MSTN for pics.

Yes ADCO does, yes it is 500 and some change, here is one...

I started out to build an SDM-R but deviated to my own specs as I was aquiring parts. I didn't want the setscrew A2 front sight mainly, so it changed from there.

What scope are you using on that rifle?

Leupold Mk4 3-9x36mm MR/T M3 w/ Illum' Reticle

My issue DMR uses a KAC 2-stage trigger, daniel defense FF rail system, Harris bipod, Colt receivers (obviously, since it's a USG M16A4), barrel is fluted under the HG, A2 FH, came with A2 stock but I replaced it with A1 (A2 stock is long for me as it is, not to mention shooting it with armor!), Matech BUIS, I was issued an ACOG but I mostly use IOR scopes instead, including the 3x25 CRT, the 1.1-4x, and the 4x24 M2.
