Zeroed my new RRA midlength 1:9 Chromed lined with Q3131A when I bought it with Dominator mounted EOTech and with irons at 50 yards.

Finally got out to shoot it again and it was shooting 2 1/2 inches high with both irons and EOTech using PMC factory .223 - which I believe is loaded pretty light.

It is unusual to have such a zero variation with different ammunition?

Yes this is common.  You can even have a variation using different lot numbers of the same brand of ammo.
