I believe the bullet speeds up then slows down in that long of a barrel so the speeds are about the same as from a pistol.

I don't know about standard 9mm but I can give you numbers from my reloads.
115gr. FMJ Glock 17 gives 1180 fps. average and RRA 16" carbine gives 1320 fps. average. 124gr Golden Saber reload Glock gives 1075 fps. average and RRA gives 1150 fps. average. |

The long barrel does not give you a ton of velocity, somewhere between 100-150 fps more than out of a handgun barrel.
