There is a lot more support with equipment, and accessories with the current AR15 market.  Eventually Sig may get close, but the AR15 has 40 years or so worth of experience, plus a current war.  The AR15 series dominates the market for a reason right now.

The modular design of the AR15 makes it the personal choice for me, both for training and duty.  When the Sig comes out, I'll still be carrying my AR15.
