Hey guys, finally got my baby, sitting here with zero rounds through her and itching for a zeroing.

Any suggestions on a good outdoor range in Richmond/central Va? Thanks!

Here is my unfired Armalite M15A4CB while we wait for his pics. I finally got the upper back from Armalite. They had to replace the receiver because the feed cuts were so badly missmatched.
I bought it the Friday before New Years and never fired it before I sent it back. It was pretty frigid this weekend, so I didn't go to the range. This week will be warmer.

Actually, not. It seems more natural to turn the light on with my forward hand, which is my left.

So what is a good price for a ALR M-15 carbine??? stock with out any accessories. I have a friend who has one on his FFL books out of California, it was a LEO rifle, the officer never picked it up.? Is $800 too much? 762

$800 is an awesome price for a M-15 Carbine new. The absolute cheapest I have found one around here was $850 stripped. If you are getting a carrying handle or a scope mount with it for $800, I would snatch that deal up in a heartbeat!!

btw, I paid a little over $900 locally because couldn't wait for FFL hassles and generally don't expect people to understand my impatience so whatever overage I paid is well worth the time I saved imo.

about 100 rounds thru her...next is a nice Remington 870...

What exactly is an M15? Couldn't find a whole lot of info on it

It's what Armalite calls it's AR-15. Kinda like Bushmaster calling it an XM-15.

I have that same rifle and had the same feedramp issue. I sent it back and they were great. New bolt carrier group, cut and smoothed the ramps.

Very nice rifle.
