that is the only true answer for that question of which to buy/
buy em both  i got a romaniam sar-1, and a bushamster ar-15 and now im working my way through their pistol variants, i got the bushy 21s and am waiting on finishing the payment on my krinkov pistol

I actually have thought about getting an AK but there's so many types I don't know good from bad. My bro in laws is a Romanian I think. |

I like my three ARs better than my three Polytech AKs.
My AR rifles: Colt LE AR6721 AR-15 Tactical Carbine with Denny's Guns Operator 16" middy barrel Colt M16A2 upper on Colt MT6601 Match Target HBAR lower LMT Defender 2000 M4 16" CAR My Polytech AK rifles: AKS-762 Side fold with plastic furniture AKS-762 Side fold with wood furniture (rare model only 200-400 imported) AKS-762 Wood stock with spike bayonet I got my AKs in '89 before the import ban. |

If I had to pick one gun of the two, easy- My Bulgarian AK. But my favorite choice is the M14/M1A. "308 holes make hollow souls."

I own AK's, FAL's, and AR's- love em' all. Course now the SIG coming out- if I can get one with a bayonet lug and side folder then I might be looking at another addition to the lineup.
