Well at least if you run out of ammo, you can toss the "pistol" at your enemy like a spear.

Ok, so under 12k and 80x60, then I just save it where the ret of pics are stored and then load it where I choose my avatar?  I'll give it a shot.

thanks,

Gene

ETA:  the hell with it. No matter how small I make it  (75 x 55, and 10k) it's still too big.  I'll stick with the picture of myself...

It sure looks evil!

AR pistols aren't my thing, and I don't have or plan to have one.

But those who do have and shoot them seem to love them.

I'd admit it is intriguing thought of hip-firing a C-Mag full of 5.56 at a helpless line of water jugs, pumpkins or scarecrows!

I still did it, you can use it if you want. I made three versions, one is the original photo shrunk down, one is slightly cropped, the other is cropped quite a bit. I cropped the two with the idea of getting some of the background stuff out of the picture.

I do have a BETA C MAG, I'll take a pic tomorrow when I get home and get it posted here. Here it is from a few days ago:
img.villagephotos.com/p/2005-12/1127179/AR-15DECAL-5SMALL.jpg

the scope was just for fun.

Few more pics here

If I had a laser, I might try it out. Of course if I had a "Frickin Laser Beam", I'd attach it to my little Chiuaua dog.

Gene

I've seen your son before...

Send that pic of your son off to Amnesty Int'l with a sternly written note.

Just got back from the first range trip. Shoots wonderfully. Loud as a muther focker though. It was too bright out to see how much of a flame ball it was throwing out, I'll have to wait till I can shoot it at night for that. Kinda hard to aim with no sights, I need to get something on there. Atleast I know my first build was successful.  Now on to my next build.

I can't believe that no one has posted that it looks like somthing from midevil times yet. Nice pistol, and your son looks like he is going to have a great time with it too.

What should I do to protect the bare aluminuim on there? I was thinking some black high temp paint. Any other suggestions?

Gene

the high temp black paint comes off when you clean it. use some alumablack and just rub it in. be sure to polish, fuzz up, and degrease first before you apply.

I'm sure the congealed blood will protect the aluminum just fine.

I can almost carve wood with it lol.

I'll try the alumablack, thanks.

Gene

ETA: Where can I find alumablack without having to buy 5 gallons of the stuff? I saw the "touch up" pen at Brownells, but it says it's only a black pen, not alumablack. Who sells this stuff in small ammounts?
