You might want to search this one, I think there are a handful of S&W AR15 threads going right now.  Most people are saying its a CMT AR15, so they will wait and see what the price is for retail sales.

I am content with my current manufacturer.....no need to switch for a name on the side.
I would say they are about 40 years late to get a jump on the AR world.
