If they came as free accessories with the aimpoint, you would then have standing.

Aimpoint was better than Eotech even back when everyone thought that a "Holosight" was Obe Wan Kenobe being projected by R2D2 to deilver a message from Princess Leia.

In 1985 Aimpoint 2000 was introduced. This was the first red dot sight that could be mounted with rings, which enabled both right and left handed shooters to use the sight. Further this model had automatic light adjustment as well.
 Source

Eotech did not even exist as a company before 1995.

BTW Eotech has just been purchased by L3 communications. Go check out their website.

EOtech is an offshoot of a University of Michigan defense research project. This is what makes them better than Aimpoint. The 65MOA ring is just icing on the cake.

GO BLUE!

ya if I didn't allready like aimpoint better I would after seeing that!

Personal expeirance, Aimpoint live through everything we (myself and fellow soldiers)did to them in Iraq and kept on going. Im not saing the eotech won't also but I know the aimpoint did. Plus I like the one dot better then the dot and ring, it is less there to take my focus away from the imortant things, like the target.
