okay i feel kind of stupid for asking this but what is a RECCE rifle? i did the search and couldent find anything. now i know what a spr is and its purpose. but what consists of a recce and what is its purpose?  any links would be nice

It is a 16" carbine built for accuracy

It was supposedly poorly received and had a short "must-have shelf life"

check MTSN web page for some pix

One of Mr. Grant's RECCE carbines (RECCE being an acronym for reconnaissance...)

what he said.  good barrel, magnified optics.  still trying to figure out the poorly received part myself.  guess people just dont get it.
