Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Mamba sling installation

Can a Mamba sling be installed on a rifle with no side sling adapters? I ordered this sling and the installation instructions show an M-4 rifle with side sling adapters. I would like to mount this to a standard car-15. Any advise would be great, pictures would be a plus.

I think you will need the side sling mounts to get the 3-point to work properly.
