Have one of these - I'm the original owner.  Thinking I'll never use it.  Max 100 rds fired.  Safe queen - not 100%, but pretty darn close.  Original box/manual/mags/sling/cleaning kit.......not sure but maybe even have the cardboard barrel insert and plastic bag.

Am I correct that these still command a small premium to those who live in "continued ban" states?

What sort of price should I get minus shipping?  Not looking to gouge, but not looking to get taken.

Thanks in advance,

Sam

Correct me if I am wrong, but since the 6600s say AR-15 HBAR Sporter rather then just HBAR Sporter arn't they still restricted in some of the ban states?

mm,  Thanks.

vip, my understanding is that it's complicated.  In CT, this gun would have been registered under that's state ban, but b/c it wasn't it can never be brought in.  OTOH, the gun is OK for MA import, but probably cannot be reconfigured with additional "evil" features(?).  Then again, in NY it supposedly could be reconfigured (?).

All in all, very confusing.

I have bought two R6600's within the last nine months. The 1st one, a R6600K, no bayonet lug, only 200 rounds fired, as new condition, no box included, I paid $950 which I thought was a good deal. The next one, R6600 with bayonet lug, ANIB with accessories, unfired, I paid $1450. I tagged this post to see if I was gouged, and it doesn't look like it.

Bought one at 100% NIB on 08/28/02 for $800, sold it on 9/6/03 for $1200, still 100% NIB.

Renegade , ill probilbly wish I didnt open this can of worms but tell me the benefit of the "I bought here and heres how I came out" story.  You are not typical althougth a real example. But what does the exeption to the rule teach anybody? Im just wondering your point other than how well you did on one particular deal. I hope this doesnt come across as antagonistic , not my goal at all. thanks, dave

I picked up a Brand New in Box Colt 6600 Green Label in September for approx $1,000.00

The reason I state Approx value was it was done in a trade at a local gun shop. My value of the the items that I traded were $1,000.00
