Does anyone know anything about Gristmill lowers? TIA
There is a WHOLE forum Dedicated to this last time I checked.
Where? the AR15 forums has a info topic on ARs but they dont mention the Gristmill lowers
This is OPEN discussion, so what's the problem?
I've never heard of them. Are they low-priced?
They were a company that went out of buisness before the ban but thats about all I know. I have a preban rifle built on one of these lowers and I just wanted a little more info on them.
I tried to google "gristmill ar-15", "grist mill ar-15", "gristmill arms", "grist mill arms", "gristmill manufacturing" and "grist mill manufacturing"
Grist Mill Mfr. US Rosendale, NY
Its listed in the ban -- last one down I didnt copy them all

I had one years ago. It was a steel A1 style lower. I think it was casted. Fit and finish were not the best. Sold it off. No regrets.
EDITED TO ADD: I was thumbing thru some old files, the one I had was marked model XM177E3, s/n in low 100s. Also had a raised magazine fence.
