Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - New AR - Whare to shoot in Atlanta

Hello - I am the proud new owner of a new AR (Pictures to soon follow). I am looking for an outdoor range to shoot at near Atlanta. I live in North Gwinnett County and have found some private clubs. There is Cherokee Gun Club which currentl has no openings and Riverbend which looks very nice, but has a $600 initiation fee and $200 per year after that.

Anybody shoot around Atlanta at another place?

charles elliott DNR i think its called. not bad range. pistol and rifle ranges. its a ways out I20 though.

There are just a few streets where you could practice working from a vehicle and on moving targets.
