Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - 3 Point sling

I am interested in attaching a 3 point sling on a stock AR.(NO free float handguards.) If I use the military side sling mount that attaches under the Ft sight. Or I have seen some people attach the sling directly to the ft sight. Has anyone had any change in the POI due to the sling moving the sight base or barrel?, Thanks
