I constantly find myself reading, "don't fill your 30 round mags with 30 rounds!"

I fill my 30 round mags to 30 rounds. I DO have issues with "tactical reloads" or whatever you call a reload on a closed bolt. Though, my issues exist with 28 or 29 rounds in a magazine also!

No matter what, to fully seat a magazine when the bolt is closed, the mag spring has to be compressed a fraction of an inch. When I have 30 rounds in a 30 round magazine, there is still room to compress the spring when jamming the mag into the mag well on a closed bolt. I don't understand why anyone sees fully loading a 30 round magazine as such a no-no.

Anyone?

Oh, good, I'm glad I didn't have to open the can of worms... it was already open, I just hadn't seen it. Thanks.
