I use the YHM two-part railed handguard on some of my AR's (16" and shorter), mostly for vertical grips, possibly lights, etc.

I use a YHM free-float railed forarm on my 20", to mount the bipod and to allow the barrel to float - for whatever accuracy benefit that give me.

I'm building another AR and wanted to look at options.  Is there something wrong with that?

KAC FF RAS.....sorry for the shitty pic. This was taken about 3 years ago when it was new.  It doesn't look this good anymore but it's still in one piece......for the most part http://i12.photobucket.com/albums/a236/Mark82ndABN/RAS.jpg

There's absolutely nothing wrong with that, not in the least. I just wanted to make sure you weren't with the government or something. Besides, if you ask people to say what kind of gear they're using and to posts pics of it, it's not rude to ask why you want that information.

But back OT, I've got a Daniel Defense rail, a Larue and a KAC FF RAS. They all look pretty much the same. The DD feels the best to me (when held like a traditional handguard) due to its more oval profile but I like the anti-spin feature of the Larue. The KAC FF RAS is probably going to get replaced by either a PRI tube or a Larue soon.

BTW, this question gets asked every day without fail. You will find a plethora of information on the subject if you search for it here.
