I am just getting into Ar-15's and was wondering what people would recommend as a good weapon for varmit hunting in Northern Minnesota (ex: Bushmaster, ect.)  I am looking for accuracy and value, I am willing to spend the money for a good weapon.  Any info would be appreciated.

Bushmasters are good.  Rock Rivers Arms to.  Ive been shootn DPMS with no problem also.

The only reason I asked this question is that i was told that some AR-15's call pie plates groups and was wondering what others have and are experiencing.

Bushmaster makes great AR's, for quality/price Bushy is the way to go

Colt, buying anything else is like buying a Kia over a Ferrari. Sure it will still work but nowhere near the same ballpark. Unlike Ferrari though the pricetag isn't thta much different, especially for the better quality.

Dont get tied up in all of that bull crap. You cant go wrong with the big brands ie. Bushy, Rock River, DPMS, Colt...... and on and on. Do some research and make a choice. If you come on here and ask  a question like that you are going to here a bunch of biased oppinions. Any company might sell you a bad part. Send it back. ARs are great fun and very accurite. Colt and Bushy are the two big ones. I have owned both and they are both great. Have fun with your newest addiction.

I love my ARs. Of mine my favorite as far as function and accuracy and dependability is my

little Oly.  The DPMS and Armalite are great, but 20,000 + rounds through my Oly without any

problems during my routine rapid fire sessions and no problems, that is the one I trust the most.
