Anyone have a chrome lined barrel cut and have the chrome lining flake on you?

I have heard it said here many time and buy people not on the internet that chrome lining can flake if oyu have a chrome lined barrel cut.

Has anyone actually experienced this?

No. And I have had several cut down in the past. It is a non-issue.

The chrome is a little different than on the bumper of an old Chevy.  It doesn't flake.
