Anyone here know what  the going price on this stock is??Digging thru some spare parts here at home, came across a car alum. stock never used.purchased it from quality parts/bushmaster back in '91 or '92 anyone have an idea what it may be worth, has spring. buffer , tube and 2 position stock matte finish all hardware to mount on ar .as ad says in '92 bushmaster/quality parts catalog.

They are still available. Somewhere in the neighbornood of $75 complete.

Thanks, could not find a price or place that sold them on the net. olympic arms had one for $119. and place called ultimak had some contraption for $157. bushmaster nothing?  Is there a link to the place for $75 ? Have a friend who would like a couple but can't seem to find them and we have both tried with no luck so far.

I can't remember the company or if I had seen it as a dealer cost but CMMG has them listed for $114. Can't seem to find them anywhere alse right now.

The price for the Olympic version is $83 for a kit.

I'd say you would be lucky to get $50 to $60 max.    There is no collector's value as it is heavier than the plastic ones, noisy, cold to the cheek in cool weather, hot if left in the sun, and scratches the hell out of the extension tube.  The tube only has 2 positions (full open or all-the-way closed), and the buffer that came with it is very lightweight by today's standards.   The locking ring is of the older spanner-wrench variety, not a castle nut.

Now if it was a "rubber coated" original Colt stock, you'd get some money from the Cult.   But nowadays, even the ribbed style stocks are getting obsolete.
