Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Colt lower finish

I recently picked up a used Colt MT Comp HBAR II lower and the finish is a dark greyish-purple color.  It's definitely lighter than the Bushmaster and RRA lowers I compared it to and it is definitely two-tone when the upper is on it.  My serial prefix is CJC.  Was this a typical finish for these lowers?
