I really like the look of the A1 Clubfoot Rifle stock. Does anyone use them on post bans?

I highly recommend it. I put an A2 length on my KAC SR15 and have an A1 waiting for a good project. Solid, great cheekweld, battery storage and multiple sling options. Here's a pretty poor pic:

I've got one + the fitted rubber buttpad on my RRA "pseodo-SPR". It's an excellent product! I'll soon have the green version on my AR10.

I thought these were telescoping, therefor making them illeagal for a postban.

O.K. I missed something,,, The great looking Vltor stocks I'm seeing all of you guys using isn't collapsible?

Vltor makes both collapsible and fixed A1 and A2 length stocks. The fixed are OK for post ban use. More info here: www.vltor.com

The A1 length Clubfoot on a std. buffer tube is post ban compliant.

FYI you can put the full sized stocks on carbine buffers. Mine came with some piece to do it. I have no clue how it works. I just asked CCA what the piece was, and they said it was for using the fixed stock on a carbine length buffer tube.

I have A1 Clubfoot Vltor stocks on two of my postbans and they are excellent. I use the rifle sized receiver extension. Use of the A1 with a carbine extension makes it A2 length.

Hey guys! I have an Armalite post ban mid length 16" carbine and I would like to change the factory stock to the VLTOR. What model should I get and where would be a good place to purchase the one I need? Thanks for the help in advance.

Vltor stocks are excellent. You wouldnt have any regrets. The cheek weld is outstanding and the storage tubes are very useful. Buy from MSTN

Don't forget they come in colors. So far I have two (fixed and collapsible) and I plan for a third. I want to buy a A1 OD Green for my SPR project. You won't regret it. ls

Are the storage tubes more usefull than an A2s trapdoor? Could you atleast stuff a basic cleaning kit inside?

You are correct, except the stock has to be permanently fixed to one position for it to be post ban legal. The carbine buffer tube allows for a two position mounting option, hence a no no on a post ban. Honestly do not think there would be any suspicion if it was not fixed, since its full length.
