Just got back from the Reno Hilton Gun Show and picked up a new DPMS Panther 308 with a 18 inch bull barrel. Cant wait to get out and try it. Best of all I had a dealer with me so I got it at dealer cost and saved a few hundred on the deal. They said the 18 inch barreled version hasnt been released yet and this was a demo for the show, either way it sure is cool. Anyone tried the 24 inch version yet?

i'm interested to hear your range report... my local gun store owner said he took his out and was shooting beautiful groups... i've considered it to ... for my battle rifle project... but i want a dust cover :)
