I really like the Mepro. I have had no problem with fading. If I am in a dark room and point out side on a bright day against white, I loose the dot. I have no problem shooting in any light condition at the range. I added a sun shade and it worked great. The vertical grip was found at a gunshow. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's smaller then the aluminum vertical grip. It's not as small as the MP5K, it's slightly larger. I find it a perfect size. It held up to the hottest day in the summer, when the rifle was left in the sun all day and 240 rds nonstop from drum magazines were fed through the rifle. I tested the rifle out with a few rounds for function, then let it rip through two 120 drum magazines. Yes, Chinese 120rd drum magazines. They work awesome! 1.Lower: Pre-Ban Eagle Arms 2.Upper: Came from Del-Ton (perfect match) 3.Barrel: M4 from Georgia Precision 4.FIRSH Free Float Tube 5.VLTOR Buttstock 6.Frontsight: Gunsmoke Collapsible gas block sight 7.Rearsight: DPMS Catapult rear collapsible sight 8.Gunsmoke GSE Combat permanently attached brake 9.Surfire G2 Nitrolon/Knights mount

I'm not feeling that Stock, looks like it belongs on the starship enterprise. Otherwise, a beautiful build; good job.

Thanks, I would never have been able to build it without the help from everyone here at AR15.com. I have now help a number of others build there own. I tried to use all the vendors from this sight. I went with one company not found here. The name is Gunsmoke Enterprises. They are located in Florida and can be found on the Web. There prices and service are top notch. They have some excellent Muzzle brakes and other equipment. They were also the only company offering the frontsight/gas block I wanted.
