After having tried
A2 Ergo Hogue Fobus G27 I am settling on the Sierra grip for now.It's the only grip I've found that puts my finger on the trigger properly.It also fills my better than any other grips.The G27 was a close 2nd. |

Have a trap door A2 grip for spare bolt,disconector,firing pin,magcatch and a 5/32 punch for the lower.

I am trying a G27, Tango down, and hogue right now and I like them all if the G27 was rubber like the hogue it would win hands down. The tango down grip is also real nice and good storage options for my batteries.

I've tried Hogue, Ergo, SPR, DuckBill, A2 and A1.
I like everything about the Hogue except that I wish it had a thicker web at the rear like the Ergo. I've got long fingers and like the longer pull on the Ergo and SPR grips. The Ergo also has all the colors available from CavArms. |

Gogogadgets.net vertical grip for post bans.
I am able to keep my dreaded flash suppressor on my post ban AR, since the vertical grip is ATF approved as a non pistol grip. |

I have the Houge in plastic an rubber, spr and G27. The G27 is the most comfortable with the Houge in rubber 2nd. The spr is the only one that is wide enough to put your finger in a better firing position. A warning on the spr, it's not for people with small hands, it is by far the biggest and will not be comfortable for someone with small hands.

I have the First Samco G27's on all my AR's - the one with the storage "compartment" inside the grip. I love it.

Hogue is the best grip even for larger hands and when weather conditions are getting wet. I´ve got them on my OA15 and my USP.

I ditched my A2 for a Hogue but decided later that I don't like rubber very much, so I went to a TD BattleGrip.

The Sierra grip is awesome, no doubt about that, I have one on my SPR and will get another for the new SPR I am building. To be honest, I will not want another grip on that type rifle. But the Sierra is not a very good grip for most rifles. It does not lend itself to ambi shooting at all. Try to use it left handed and it will be quite awkward and uncomfortable. I have not tried the G27 grip, but it didnt look very ambi freindly to me either.
For a general purpose gun, I like the HOUGE the best and have a few. The ErgoGrip is another nice one. I have not tried the Textured Battlegrip yet, but sure would like to. I dont think any of these will replace my Houge's but they do look and feel nice from what I have seen. |

RRA Carbine came with a rubber Houge.
Liked the feel but was "too close" to trigger. Got a RITE-PULL spacer from Sinclair. Now is length of pull is just right. Combo looks like it came from the factory that way (just like the ad says). |

Hogue for me, although the G27 is a very nice grip as well. If Hogue came out with the same grip, it would be awesome.
I have the SPR on my DPMS .308...it's okay, but with pretty small hands, it feels fat...not uncomfortable, though. I found the Ergos to long front to back, and too thin...and I didn't really like the material they're made from. I've got the PSG style grip on one of my rifles...it's more of a gimmick than anything else. Feels kinda like the Ergo, but with the palm rest. The grip I like the least is the A2 hehehe...don't know why, but none of my rifles have that grip on them. |

I'm putting my first AR together and noticed that CDNN is selling the Duckbill grip for a whopping $4.99!! Went ahead and ordered one to give it a try.
Figure that for 5 bucks, I can't go wrong since I was already picking up some other stuff from them. |

I found a gun-show special on a Pachmayr combo that came with both their grip and slip-on rubber sleeve for the float tube. I don't know what these normally retail for, but I have really liked both of them. The grip is solid but not too bulky (I have smaller hands) and the feel of the forearm piece is pretty sweet.

I haven't tried many grips besides hogue and A2. However, my current set up is a Duckbill with a section of bicycle innertube stretched over it. Low tech but, the grip is great for smaller hands and the rubber is easily replaceable when worn.

The Hogues don't fit me well - for such a big guy I have very small hands...
(edited to add: ...but I LOVE Hogue products & have their grips on many of my handguns [:)]) My two favorites are the Ergo and the TD BATTlegrip. I have literally tried them all, except for the DuckBill, but... I just recently found out that a buddy of mine manufactures the DuckBills and he gave me some good-natured grief for being active on here but not using his grips, so I promised to go by and pick up a couple and try them. I may have a new "favorite" soon, who knows? |

I've had the Hogue, Sierra Prec., Ergo grips & the Fobus/First Samco G27 grip and by far my favorite is the G27 grip. And, the spare parts compartment is always a worthy feature.
The Hogue grip is a close runner up, it is very comfortable, especially after a full day of shooting. |

Does the Hogue grip position the hand further back, ala the Ergo? I have 2 Ergo grips and like the feel and position, but not the material. It is too hard and somewhat slippery when wet.
