Can either one of these fit an HBAR barrel or does the barrel have to be of the light weight configuration under the handguards in order for either of these to work. I have a 16" HBAR that I would like to add one of these to but I don't want to have to turn down the barrel unless it's necessary. Thanks.

The M-4 RAS will definitely fit on a Bushmaster heavy barrel and I believe others. I don’t think it will fit on a Colt Hbar. The RIS will fit on all of them. If you have an A3 upper I would skip both and get the RAS2. It’s a much better system and worth the extra cost!
