My AR is a "mutt". I have an RRA lower with a NM trigger courtesy of Pete at Legal Transfers and a Model 1 CAR upper with an aluminum free-float guard. Aside from my Win-70 30-06, it is the most accurate rifle that I own.

Hey man, don't ever ask what brand of AR someone owns!  If they own a Bushmaster, they'll tell you.  If they don't, there aint no need to embarass 'em.

Just kidding....honest!

Presently my three ARs are Colts, but in the past I've owned a Bushy, a DPMS, an Oly, and an RRA.

The ARs I'm about to build will have RRA lowers, if that counts for anything.

Interesting to see that Bushmaster is leading.

Maybe because Colt decided they wanted to be PC?

Maybe someday I can add FN to the poll...

One Bushy, one Rock River Arms.  Me likes the trigger on the RRA best, 2 stage NM.  Bushy is cooler looking, however, and is extra cool as it was a Christmas present from my wife.

It amazes me how many different makers are still out there.
In the gun stores in my area, the AR's I see are about 50% Colt, 40% Bushmaster and DPMS 10%. The only place I see the other makes are gunshows.

I entered the AR world earlier this year with a stripped DPMS lower and a 16" kit from J&T.  I'm happy with it, and that's what counts.

Trying to decide what's coming next...
