I guess what they're calling the new Bushmaster with the shortened stock and light barrel is the superlight;  has anyone here had any experience with one?

i built my own version using the BUshmaster Superlight barrel and DPM lo-pro upper.

The superlight barrels get hot pretty fast and dont cool off to quickly, other than that, it is pretty light, it is the same concept as the SP1 pencilbarrels from the Vietnam ERA.

I have a superlite upper from bushmaster and like it. As die-tryin has allready said, heats up fast. Comes up on target fast too. Stock length is not a weight factor here , imho.
