Does it matter which way you insert these?  I see they have a groove on one end and not the other.  Is this important?

I always insert the pins with the groove to the left side (as you are firing). Though, I don't think that it really matters.

i put em in the same way as Slash.  the tech manual i have has a pic of em that way so that's how i've always put them in.

And the disassembly guide on this website shows the trigger pin going one way, the hammer pin the other...
