I have a standard 20" Bushmaster AR-15A3. I love it. I wanted as close to what the normal Army soldier carries. My only thing is that I want the "bird cage flash suppressor". I wrote that off after I bought the gun and researched the laws. I was just looking through pictures people here have posted of there guns and see what looks to be a bird cage. How can you legally do that or is it some sort of aftermarket piece? I don't want the "AK-74" muzzle brake or anything else just the bird cage.

There are two ways to do it - a muzzle brake that looks like the bird cage flash hider or a "fake brake" that doesn't actually do anything and is there for looks only.
