For me it has to be a Beta C mag...I want one of these so bad I can taste it!
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 1:12:17 PM EDT
about 5 lowers once I get the lowers I have to build the rifles!!
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 1:47:15 PM EDT
Glock standard capacity mags for under $25, and an AR complete with a Vltor and Vortex.
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 2:11:47 PM EDT
I have simple dreams of a few CAR stocks. Will hi-cap pistol mags be kosher after it sunsets?
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 2:42:02 PM EDT
I'm with Suburban on the Glock mags. I'll be picking up as many 10mm mags as possible for a Glock 20 I will need to replace. I also need some STI competition mags. And YES, handgun mags that accept more than 10 rounds will be "kosher". Of course I'll be needing a couple of collapsible AR stocks and probably a phantom suppressor or two. Less than a year to go. Gotta start saving money now! Scott

Im gonna pick up 5 new post ban/pre ban lowers.
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 5:57:08 PM EDT

Link Posted: 9/28/2003 6:10:07 PM EDT
M1014 with all the bells and whistles.
Link Posted: 9/28/2003 6:16:11 PM EDT
Bayonet lug and flash hider. I have an M8 bayonet waiting to be put on after the ban expires(if it does). Why? Because then my 20 " A2 will look just like M16A2 I was issued in 1987 (minus the selector switch). I don't really care about the collapsible stock, never cared for those much.
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 3:04:12 PM EDT
I have 3 stripped lowers sitting here waiting for their turn to be built up. I guess I'll get them all preban uppers and collapsible stocks when the ban expires. [:)]

Threads on the end of my barrel.
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 3:43:32 PM EDT
Cheap full capacity magazines. Another rifle. Benelli M1 Super 90 with a pistol grip. An SBR AK 100 something series (not decided on caliber yet)
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 4:07:15 PM EDT
Folding stock AR... I'd love a ZM but that might be a little too much $. Perhaps build a folding stock AR based on the OLY OA93, SBR, of course! I'm hoping Armalite will build folding stock AR180s like the originals. Scot

Another BLACK EVIL RIFLE, but cheaper.[party]
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 5:22:55 PM EDT
telescoping stock for my post ban
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 5:51:27 PM EDT
A bayonet lug and bayonet so I can start serial stabbing innocent citizens. Lucky for all you poor bastards that the 1994 weapons ban has kept me from hurting anyone to date. Regards, Jason
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 5:56:00 PM EDT
Basically all of the above, plus a folding stock for my 10/22 and hopefully a decent hi cap mag for the same rifle. John
Link Posted: 10/3/2003 5:58:25 PM EDT

Link Posted: 10/3/2003 6:05:53 PM EDT
A Factory M4 removable handle carbine with a 14.5 permanent phantom supressor from bushmaster in its no frills configuration, and they better put the fat M4 hand guards on it as standard with the new style tele stock and H buffer. If your going to make, it make it right. And Ill be glad to shell out $950 no problem.

You can get the short barrl right now. You have never been prevented from that. Only thig is you have to register it and pay the $200 short barrel tax to the ATF.

Well the most obvious is a pre-ban AR15 for the price of a post-ban and all those good "evil" features. More pre-ban type weapons on the market. Factory new high cap. pistol magazines that don't cost a arm and a leg, and aren't questionable of whether or not they are pre-ban. For one strange reason or another I want some high cap. mags for my remington 597 magnum some where in the area of 20-25 rounds, 15 rounds would be acceptable but not my first choice.

Its like reading a Christmas list here. So what I'm hearing here is that Christams for 2004 is going to be in September?
Link Posted: 10/4/2003 9:06:16 AM EDT
More than likely
Link Posted: 10/4/2003 9:10:17 AM EDT
With a lot of luck it might be

I want to get my bushmaster 16" threaded and then buy a nice silencer for it. Still deciding if I should buy a collapsable stock or keep my current. Oh and get another lower for my other rifle (20" national match), get it threaded and install a vortex flash hider.
Link Posted: 10/4/2003 11:45:42 AM EDT
Many more USGI 30 rounders, only brand new this time. Vortex flash hider Maybe a CAR collapsing stock, eventually. Mags for my Para Ord P-14 for cheaper prices. (fingers crossed) And the pleasure of seeing the hoplophobes squirm when the crime rate goes down yet again, despite the AW "ban" going away.

it is nice to be MilPers (military personnel), can get one whenever i want one. a stint in the reserves could make you the pround owner of one, just a thought.

16" AR10 upper with threads for a suppressor/FH.....followed shortly thereafter with a suppressor (Yes, through the ATF forms and the $200 stamp). Collapsible stocks for the two unbuilt lowers I have.....uppers with lugs, and FH and threads for same.

Lockedon, you ask the question " What is the one thing you can't wait to get once the ban expires?" This is not a forgone conclusion, my friend. As gun owners, there is a lot of hard work ahead of us.... Lots of letters to write, phone calls to make, faxes & e-mails to send, money to donate, rallies to attend, friends to convert, arms to twist, etc... To this end, I refer everyone to The Essential "End the AW Ban" Contact List & Sample Letter Thread First the work, then the reward. It can't & won't happen any other way!!!

You all have more faith in the system than I do,the ban expires, the new one will go into effect. My question is, what will yea do than?? TG

TexasGunman, I hear where you are coming from, but don't concede defeat before the battle is even fought! We have one shot at driving a stake through the heart of the AW ban, and we would be doing a tremendous disservice to future generations of Americans if we didn’t pull out all the stops in an attempt to kill this "law" while we have the opportunity. Negativity & defeatism should not be tolerated or fostered over the next 11 months. Half the battle is convincing freedom loving gun owners that we can actually affect a change for the better! Don't throw in the towel Gunman... you're better than that!

I'm almost complete, by the time the ban expires I won't need anything. Like Imbroglio's 10,000 post, once the ban expires I'll just disappear. Besides...the WAIT for uppers and lowers will skyrocket. Who needs that shit. I've got my prebans now and plenty of accessories and mags. I'm good. I actually want to purchase one more AR, with a muzzle brake and full length Vltor.
Link Posted: 10/5/2003 1:22:50 PM EDT
Im not giving up, just storing up for a physical fight, if it come to that. Another thing in our favor, it will be close to election time, not many/if any politician will touch a new ban, might get some lip service out of them, but that is about it. TG
