I'm a new poster here so please bear with me. Mostly I just read and read and learn. So before I start, thank you for all I learned so far.

I already own a Colt AR-15A2 Blue Lable with a collapsible stock. I was told it has a Type I stock. What is the difference between a Type I and a Type II? And is the Type II any better? For my next Pre-Ban is it worth me going for a Type II or not?

Also what is a gapper?

Thanks
BP

Original Colt M4 stocks are covered here: http://www.biggerhammer.net/ar15/stocks/ Would look like this: I believe that the type II stocks would be the newer 6 position stocks like this: Pic courtesy of Pete-in-NH, aka as Legal Tranfers on the EE, who sells these type items. As to the gapper: Welcome aboard, Mike
