Hey Folks! I'm a newbie to this community.

I would like some assistance with identifying an SP1 (serial number 125xxx).

I know that it is a pre-ban, but I would like to know which year in particular it was manufactured.

thanks in advance,
bjones

I bought SP129xxx in 11/80, new from a dealer. I would guess your gun was made Late 1979 or early 1980. Hope this helps.

Thanks Mr_Wilson. That's what I originally thought too....according to the SN List...1968 SP10750. However, in and/or after 1978.....the SN list shows SP360200 and Below. I feel that it could be a '79' or '80' as RenegadeX suggests. Thanks for the info y'all!

Thank you. I feel that is fairly accurate info. Based on the SN list from 1978 until the last pre-ban of SP360200. Thanks again!

The prefix is "SP" not "SP1". So your SN is 125xxx....
