I am intrested in getting a decent scope for my new mt6400c colt. I want to spend no more than $250. I need something that is good for plinking @100-200yds.I don't want any type of reddot, or CQB I just want something dependable that looks good on the rifle.(carryhandle Or flattop mount).I know a lot about guns, but I am clueless when it comes to optics. Any input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

Best Scope place on planet : http://www.riflescopes.com/ Might want to look at the Tasco Super Sniper , probably the best scope for your buck there is. Good luck Jack

I have the exact same gun and have mounted an IOR Valdada 4x24 M2 Tactical Scope. I have found the scope to be of outstanding quality and value. I purchased mine at Cactus Tactical and they provided fast service. The current price is $324. See: http://www.cactustactical.com/valdada/4x24m2tact.html#topofpage. We also had a long discussion on this particular scope and the Dragunov reticle. You can read the discussion at: http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=18&t=159450. Bottom line: great gun. I love mine. With good (and expensive 74 grain) ammo you can easily shoot sub MOA groups.
