if you don't want the scope than ditch it on ebay or the EE on this site.
what does the SOF stand for though? if you want an AR with just irons than you can do alot better than 1k. you could build one up for around $7-800. |

SOF is an armalite name "special operations force" I think.

I think that model doesn't have a front sight or carry handle so you'll have to buy both of those. I'm guessing the Bushnell scope won't bring much money, most of their scopes aren't that expensive. I don't know about the mount price off the top of my head but you could look through "AR parts" or "optics" to get a quick idea on what they are going for. If you are looking for a nice little shorty I'd just get one with irons already |

The A4 does come with front sight. "Special Operation Forces". AR's are pretty scarce around here, and I'd really like a "nice" shorty and this one is the only CAR stock that Armalite makes. Haven't seen a Bushy around here yet, so I don't know where that leaves me...
