I am pulling the A2 flash hider on my Colt AR15A3, and it is on there pretty good.  I want to make sure that I am working it in the right direction.  

As viewed from the muzzle end, is it turn left to loosen?

I can't remember, thanks for any input.

lefty loosie, righty tighty
Also, you may need to apply some heat, Colt did use loctite on certain models.

I went out to the garage and everything came back to me.  I hit it with the torch and the world was a better place.

The funny thing was that the barrel nut wasn't on as tight as the FH!
