Just curious, is there any areas of my M4 I need to pay more attention in keeping it protected from rust when stored? I use FP-10 on all my firearms too.

Thanks

Well.. Everything that is steel. :) Keep the aluminum wiped clean, no fingerprints or anything.. I had the right side of the mag well develop wierd corrosion of some sort from a fingerprint after a couple days in the humid weather when I first got it, not sure what to call it(Isn't it oxidation or something?).. but CLP wiped it off in 1 second. Keep a light film of oil on the sights and the outside of the barrel..The pins.. The dust cover.. If your barrel is chrome lined pulling a boresnake with a few drops of CLP on it will keep the barrel happy for quite a while. Use a few extra drops if it is isn't.. That's about what I've learned to take care of thus far.. It IS quite the weather friendly rifle, that's for sure..
