I like a few scratches it adds charachter, but on aluminum birchwood and casey aluminum blue will do it back to black and for the parkerized steel parts use a cold blue it dries matte black, ive noticed the paste will leave it glossy black, for cold blue I use kleenbore, seems to work faster than the birchwood casey, their aluminum blue is excellent though.

Dont be a wuss.
Its a combat gun not a showpiece [:D]

I like some "wear" on my battle rifles.

Just my 2¢

Thanks for the info. I agree a few character marks are ok. I have just been wondering if I decided to fix them how I would do it. Now that I know I just need to decide if I am going to do it or not. Thanks again, colt_5_5_6
